Book Marketing Society Promotions

The Book Marketing Society exists to promote books to the population and the discipline of marketing in publishing & bookselling. The Society meet every 3 months and amongst other things, deliberate on the best book marketing campaigns every season.
Several high profile book campaigns have resulted from discussions at the society, one of the most significant,is the concept of ’50 Best books you must read...’

Agile marketing created and deliver promotions under this banner within different book genres or consumer interests as and when the Society feel it is necessary.
The most recent campaign was for the best 50 film adaptations ever released. The source novels were listed in a specially created supplement within The Guardian newspaper. Supported by a nationwide retail instore campaign, a public vote was held to find the best adaptation. The winner being named as ‘To Kill a Mocking bird’
Other promotions for other genres have been run under this banner and, in one case sponsored by Pilsner Beer.
