Richard & Judy’s Summer Read
After the success of their Book Club, agile marketing worked with Cactus TV to develop the highly successful summer read strand within their show running over June, July & August each year. The titles discussed on air are more populist in genre and are supported heavily by book retailers around the UK and Ireland.
Agile developed the official promotional logo which is used as a sticker ‘endorsement’ on all the selected books and within all official point of sale & communication material. Galaxy has also been the competition sponsor since 2006.
We help select the titles for inclusion, sales of which over the last 4 years have reached £35million turnover in the UK market.
In September 2007 the promotion was awarded the Bookseller retail award for Expanding the market.
Agile has gone on to help devise promotions around one off special shows with Cactus TV such as the Richard & Judy Christmas Books Show.
