Agile marketing devised and orchestrated a back-catalogue focussed promotion called ‘50 Books you must read’ in 2006. Working in partnership with the ‘Book Marketing Society’ for the last 2 years we have secured The Guardian as a media partner and run successful and highly publicised promotions in the trade.

The Guardian editorial team create a specially devised supplement which is printed in the newspaper and run on to be made available Free to consumers in bookshops and libraries. In addition to the publicity coverage attained by our Public Relations partners MIDAS PR, there has also been tie-in live events at the Hay Festival during 2006 & 2007.

In 2006 a panel was created to select the best ‘Film Adaptations’ and in 2007 Pilsner Urquell were secured as a sponsor to the ‘Defining the 20th Century’ promotion.

In 2007 the promotion won a Hollis Sponsorship award for an effective co-operative promotion  and sales from the selected titles have increased by approx 20% for each of the two promotions so far run.
