The shortlists and winners for the 2014 awards (film & television), to be presented at Grosvenor House on 24th October, will be determined by balloting members of the Academy of British Crime Writing (Publishing, Film & Television).
Once again this year, the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards are merged with the Crime Writers’ Association Daggers and sponsored by Specsavers. The CWA have already judged and created the shortlists for the book awards and we now ask Academy members to select the shortlists for the film & TV category Daggers by voting for their favourites.
We are inviting your vote – which will remain confidential – for the following Awards.
The Film Dagger for the best big-screen crime thriller story.
The TV Dagger for the best small-screen crime thriller drama.
The International TV Dagger for the best TV crime thriller drama from around the world.
The Best Actress Dagger for the female star of a crime thriller drama.
The Best Actor Dagger for the male star of a crime thriller drama.
The Best Supporting Actress Dagger
The Best Supporting Actor Dagger
Votes must be received by midnight on the 13th August
Voting Notes:
– Please vote just the one time.
– If you feel unable to vote in any particular category, please leave blank.
– If you vote for someone in a category and then decide you don’t want to vote for anyone in that category, you just need to click the box you have picked again. You can change your mind on a vote easily just by clicking the box you have selected again and then selecting a different option.
– When you have finished just click ‘submit’ at the end of the vote.
– Only Academy members may vote but they are not permitted to vote for any person, programme or series, which they, the company for which they work, represented or produced in the previous twelve months or at the time of voting. This rule also applies to distribution companies and agents who should not vote for any films or individuals they distributed or represented in the previous twelve months or at the time of voting. Such votes will be invalid and will not be counted.
